To practise my texturing skills, I was asked to model an
object from the room I was in. I chose a mouse, as I would be able to practise
creating curves in 3D at the same time. I used the multi-sub material to
texture the different parts of the mouse differently and found images from the internet
to add textures to it. In the future, I hope to be using my own textures,
instead of premade ones.

Katana - Box Modelling
I started practising my modelling skills by modelling a
katana for a future character I am planning on making. I made the blade glow by
using self-illumination in the material editor, but would like to make the
glowing part semi-transparent, and adding lights inside so that it will light
up the environment if it is ever used in future projects. The texture is just a
flat colour, and I would like to add some textures to the blade and add some
more detail to the hilt to make it more interesting.
